THIS PATHETIC SCENE HAS BEEN A COMMON HAPPENING IN MOST OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICES.I WISH SOMEONE MAKES THEM WAIT FOR HOURS WHEN THESE PEOPLE GO TO ANOTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICE TO GET THEIR WORK DONE.Would they even realize then ?

I WISH THEIR HIGHER UPS WRITES THEM UP FOR JOB ABANDONMENT !!

FEB 2010 :
Chennai Airport is being modernized and expanded at a faster pace...Addition of extra check in counters, elevator/escalator facilities to boarding area,duty free shops with a good collection and a decent waiting area before boarding.As i hear, the runways are also being expanded and extended to handle ever increasing air traffic.

Good going !,But i am peeved at the condition of the TOILETS at both International and Domestic airports. That place reeks of cigarettes and the smell is so rancid that a first time visitor would just faint there :-(. The toilets there needs to be well ventilated and needs immediate attention,or else, this would top The Incredible India's list .

ACER ASPIRE 5534

Bought this 5534 during cyber week sales at Best Buy - $ 400 for 4 GB RAM and 320 GB Memory.
I thought this is one cool budget notebook for chatting and basic everyday usage.
Guess what happened...I sensed trouble right off the box. The computer would not boot up,and it took at least two tries for start up.And once i clicked IE, the screen started flickering and would not stop. The integrated webcam did not work either. I called the ACER support ,only to be answered by Pratap Reddy and i was told to use erecovery to configure to default factory settings. Its a new laptop and it needs to be reconfigured ?! Can't believe their advice !
I didn't want to sit and spend hours on reconfiguring the "new laptop"..
I just took it back to Best Buy and returned it.No questions asked. I've purchased another brand now, and hope it works !

Opened the box 12/3/2009
Problems problems- 12/4/2009
Returned 12/5/2009.

Inbox flooded, Nobel laureate Venkatraman complains

Okay.

But ,  Pritish Nandy has some harsh words for Dr.Venki.

 Here are his twitter outrages on Dr.Venki

1.Win a Nobel and you think you are God. No one should attempt to access you, not even people who knew you once. Silly n arrogant. 

2.Indians may have over reacted in their enthusiasm to wish him for winning the Nobel. But thats no reason to be so ugly n shirty. 

3.Venkatraman Radhakrishnan may be a Nobel Prize winner but his reaction to Indians congratulating him is disgusting. Have some grace, man.


Alright ! Here are my observations on Pritish Nandy's comments .


1.Pritish is so naive that he never realized  Dr.Venki is an American citizen and not otherwise.
2.Pritish has TV shows every week honoring Indians scientists and researchers and thus has the right to ridicule Dr.Venki
3.Pritish was a Rajya Sabha MP which is considered a back door entrance to Indian Parliament , unlike Dr.Venki  who won his Nobel prize based on his research and hard work.
4.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm that they forgot to send congratulatory notes to other Nobel laureates /Winners
5.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm as they had flooded ISRO scientists inbox's on their once successful  Chandrayaan mission
6.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm that they eulogize cricket over other sports and they easily forget that Hockey is their national game
7.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm  because they are instantly connected to a nobel winning brown man with 23 syllables 
8.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm because it is easy for them to send an email to Dr.Venki  than sending a hand written note via snail mail
9.Indians have over reacted in their enthusiasm because they love spams  to their personal email accounts
10. Pritish Nandy  ,himself a Karmaveer Puraskaar Noble Laureate [ 2008 ] is plain silly and arrogant that he was not awarded the original Nobel :-\
