Tiruvarur temple tank - Kamalalayam would be like this.. but the last time I saw that was in 1982. So, not sure. :)

Madurai Mariamman theppakkulatha marakka mudiyumaa? Maduraikku poi koil koilaa photo eduthu thaliaachaa?

Did you notice that Balaji Sakthivel captured the roads nearby this tank beautifully in his "kathal" movie.. I believe in that 'thottu thottu ...' starting sequence.

U got it right..Namma ooru kovil thaanungale...

I felt like,Now the madurai city looks different without temples as many have been razed to earth or demolished..

Oru pillaiyar kovil ,near nagai kadai bazaar, near my paati house in therkavani moola veedi is down..its a cycle stand now..I felt sad..thats the temple i remember, when i was very young... used to go there often ...

And the Mada church on the way to ellis nagar is also razed ..a new bridge is being built to connect ellisnagar to bustand..Lets hope for best !!
