PLEASE ENTER YOUR PASSWORD !!

Isn't it interesting how people will read anything posted on the blogs ?? YOU , for instance are reading this. And eventhough if you donot want to read this, you will continue reading it.Look, you are here..still reading...Not because you find it amusing, but just because you are here. For example, let me talk about passwords. You would hear this statement " PLEASE ENTER YOUR PASSWORD !!" atleast couple of times a day.I wonder how secured our lives are with just those numeric and alphanumeric digits.Right from the time you start your computer, you require passwords to log on, get on to blogger account ,for Hello,Picasa ,to check your emails , to read online magazines, for online banking, pay bills etc etc... .Even when you use your phone, you need passwords for accessing your voice mail, for calling cards and more. There are many more situations where password or access code is needed. You can list them in my comments section. I am afraid what would happen if i get a brain trauma and who has access to my accounts ?? Is there any way out to remember or safeguard the passwords ??. Ok,Right about now,you are probably asking yourself "why am i still reading this??" .Perhaps, you are even pretending you are not reading it anymore.......But you are..Aren't you ??

lifeilla security a illai, annal namba security systems a increase panninda poram, with decreasing security. i think there is a inverse relationship between technology and security.
b4 atms and stuff when ppl had to go to banks to withdraw money or pay using cash\cheques transactions were more seure but difficult, today with atms and cards transactions r easier but less secure.

I read this somewhere. For example let's say you have an amazon id.

Prefix is with xx and then add your id. For example I will use
amnarayanan

Use the passwords with the same prefix. Example if my password is blogger...amazon would be amblogger.

So - Barnes and noble -bnnarayanan
password bnblogger.

But honestly...if the logic goes out of this pattern....! I'll save it in an Excel sheet and keep adding to it.
