Why is that western documentaries about India always start with a clip about bullock carts, cows on roads ,monkeys and crowded slums ? What/How would you reply when your colleague asks about expensive cars and carts moving along together in city roads ? or about monkeys/animals living amidst communities?
Any answers ?

India is all extremes. Anything you ask, is present. Deserts, peninsula, snow, mountains, sea, oceans, the richest wedding, the richest house, the poorest living, the dirtiest rooms. But most countries do not have everything like deserts, valleys, beaches, snow or mountains.

let me tell u one example.
one road connecting to mount road from T Nagar.
1. a big US based s/w company...
2. a mosque.
3. a common public shitting area between 1 and 2 which nobody cares.its actually a platform. but you dare not walk there.
4. a slum to the left of 1
5. a posh CEEBROS apt straight in front of the s/w company.
6. a slum to the left of 5.
